  Our Policy:

  • If we can’t ship it, we will not charge it.
  • We pre-pay our suppliers with our money or immediate payment terms.
  • Never wire 100% in advance without confirmation that the product is being loaded or shipping immediately and never send a check or cashiers check in advance without confirmation in writing.  A deposit will be taken on orders and we will charge you when we have done our job.
  • Credit card companies clearly state a vendor’s obligation to ship the product within 24 hours of processing the transaction.
  • Our goal is to make certain that North American Auto Equipment never processes a credit card transaction for a customer without a clear and accurate lead time for shipping.
  • All sales are final. Customers are responsible for unloading equipment. Warranty varies (see below) to origin of product and does not include labor.

Canadian and Mexican customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, and, if applicable, brokerage fees to clear the equipment purchased through customs. A commercial invoice will be provided to the customer and the customs broker (provided we get that information) and the freight company delivering the equipment. North American Auto Equipment will not and cannot assume responsibility for these charges.


Freight Policy:

Your machine / machines will ship on a major truck line and deliver to anywhere in the lower 48 USA.  Customer is responsible for offloading the machine from the delivery truck.  This can be done with a forklift, tow truck, back hoe, or 4-5 strong people.  The driver is not required to help unload your machine.  Driver is not required to drive onto your residence if he feels it is dangerous to him, his truck, or your property.

We ship to your confirmed address only.  You are responsible for any redelivery charges and storage charges.  If you provide a business name, we assume you are open 8AM-5PM and can take delivery during those hours.  We are not responsible for redelivery charges if you misrepresent being an actual business.  Any business conducted from your residence is not considered a commercial business and will be treated as a residential delivery.

If you live outside of the USA, any freight costs quoted do not include the following:   Customs clearance, duties, taxes, storage charges for freight held in bond, inspection charges, Brokerage fees, or any other costs assessed by your respective country.   All of these charges are your responsibility.  We recommend you use the services of a Broker to properly clear customs.  Any charges left unpaid will in effect void your warranty on the product purchased.

Free freight (When Advertised) included in the price is only for shipping within the USA lower 48 states.  This does not include Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Mexico, or Canada.  Please call or email for shipping costs to these places.

Freight Damage in Transit:

All sales considered final as soon as product leaves our dock, at this point North American Auto Equipment is no longer responsible for damage as a result of carrier error. Buyer must note any and all freight damage on the bill of lading at time of delivery.

Freight claims: We will provide excellent service and assistance in helping our customers file freight claims, payment of the claims is the sole responsibility of the Freight Carriers.

Return Merchandise is subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.

Shipping Charges and Credit Card Transaction Fees will be the charged against refunds.

(Customer is responsible for all Freight Charges and Transaction fees)

It is essential that the purchaser inspect their shipment upon delivery and provide timely notification of any problems. Please be sure they are aware of the following:

The customer must visually inspect the equipment UPON DELIVERY and note any potential freight damage on the receiver. If a customer signs clear on the receipt, neither the trucking company nor North American Auto Equipment, LLC. will be held responsible for freight damage.

72 HOUR REQUIREMENT after receipt to report any concealed damage or missing parts. As you know, we have a limited window to file freight claims and NAAE will not be responsible if we are not notified within the 72 hour window. If you use your own carrier then NAAE will not be responsible for filing a freight claim or for any freight damage.

Warranty Policies:

(We are mentioning this again to make sure that our customers understand the difference between a carrier damaging an item and a defective product)

The customer must visually inspect the equipment UPON DELIVERY and note any potential freight damage on the receiver. If a customer signs clear on the receipt, neither the trucking company nor NAAE will be held responsible for freight damage.

Please also make sure they are advised of our 72 HOUR REQUIREMENT after receipt to report any concealed damage or missing parts. As you know, we have a limited window to file freight claims and NAAE will not be responsible if we are not notified within the 72 hour window. If you use your own carrier then NAAE will not be responsible for filing a freight claim or for any freight damage.

Parts Transportation is only covered for the first 7 days of receiving your product, thereafter any UPS or parts shipping charges will be the purchasers responsibility.
A core charge will be collected on any replacement parts shipped. Example: a $399.00 deposit would be required for a replacement power unit, when we receive back the defective power unit, a credit of approximately $300.00 would be refunded to the customer. $99.00 would cover the cost of shipping for the new power unit and the return of the defective power unit. (Estimated $50.00 each way)
Transportation on parts will not be covered by NAAE after the 7 day grace period upon delivery.

Limited One-Year Warranty
:
North American Auto Equipment, LLC., offers a limited one-year warranty to the original purchaser of our private label lifts in the United States and Canada.
NAAE will replace, without charge, any part found defective in materials or workmanship under normal use, for a period of one year after purchase. (Unless specified) The purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges. This warranty does not apply to equipment that has been improperly installed or altered or that has not been operated or maintained according to specifications.
The following parts carry a one year warranty:
Hydraulic Cylinders
Hydraulic Seals
Power Unit

The following parts and structural components carry a Five Year Warranty:
Columns Arms Uprights Swivel Pins
Legs Carriages Overhead Beam
Tracks Cross Rails Top Rail Beam



This warranty does not cover:
1. Parts needed for normal maintenance
2. Wear parts, including but not limited to cables, slider blocks, chains, rubber pads and pulleys
3. Replacement of lift and tire changer cylinders after the first 30 days. A seal kit and installation instructions will be sent for repairs thereafter.
4. On-site labor

Upon receipt, the customer must visually inspect the equipment for any potential freight damage before signing clear on the shipping receipt. Freight damage is not considered a warranty issue and therefore must be noted for any potential recovery with the shipping company.

The customer is required to notify North American Auto Equipment of any missing parts within 72 hours. Timely notification must be received to be covered under warranty.
NAAE will replace any defective part under warranty at no charge as soon as such parts become available from the manufacturer. No guarantee is given as to the immediate availability of replacement parts.
NAAE reserves the right to make improvements and/or design changes to its lifts without any obligation to previously sold, assembled or fabricated equipment.
There is no other express warranty on the NAAE lifts and this warranty is exclusive of and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, NAAE shall not be liable for loss of use, cost of cover, lost profits, inconvenience, lost time, commercial loss or other incidental or consequential damages.
This Limited Warranty is granted to the original purchaser only and is not transferable or assignable.
Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of consequential damages or how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which may vary from state to state.


 IMPORTANT!

  • Credit cards will not be the means by which we cash flow our business; it is your money and not a loan. It is Very Important that you receive this information in writing from any vendor that wants to pre-charge your credit card and tie up your money for 2 or 3 months. If the equipment vendor shuts down, the credit card company comes back after you the consumer; if there is no bank account to charge back with the vendor – you pay.  If you have any questions regarding information relative to this subject, please call us, we will answer all of your questions and offer the best explanations possible.
  • Having worked for online equipment companies in the past we understand how not to run a business.
  • Companies that are mismanaged financially or irresponsibly will use your money as operating capital and they will find many ways and create backorder programs (pre-order programs) to tie up your money.
