Integral Heater:

Aluminum needs to be heated 160-180 degree range. Some folks have mentioned that even higher temperatures around 200 Degrees might be better for some wheels. Our induction heater will provide quick and effective heat to achieve these temperatures

Prior to doing any serious aluminum repair, we would recommend practice on a junk yard rim. Straighten some junk wheels and experiment!

Functionality:

As you will notice in our manual, we offer a variety of different angles for pressing rims into shape; this takes away the guess work. As a tire changer distributor, we've come to realize that our customers will use the tire changer as a quasi-rim straightening anvil; this type of activity will crack the inner-cases of the tire changer. The main shaft will be tempered, but the cases are aluminum.

Cutting:

A lathe attachment comes standard. This will work well with the cleaning of aluminum as well as some steel rim repairs.

Advantage:

Simple hydraulic rim straighteners will not product the results that this affordable machine can provide.

Customers:

Marketing information for rental car companies, automotive dealerships, fleet maintenance companies, police departments, towns, state and city governments are available online.

European vehicles bend wheels. Not the outside of the rim, the hollow interior of the rim that wraps around the brake rotors. The inside portion of the rim bends in. If the service dept. at the car dealership examines the rim for cracks, and none are present, The rim could be repairable. A Mercedes wheel might cost $1,000.00 or more. If a $500.00 repair is available, you can bet that the customer will request the repair.

Polisher:

It works wonders on aluminum when used in conjunction with some cone polishers, and some station hand polishing.

Fix and shine one wheel and polish all four for an additional price.
